The basic assumption of Biblical counseling is that Christianity is distinctively unique. It is unique in its content and unique in its approach. Building upon this premise that Christianity is uniquely different from the cultures of the world, a biblical model for Christian counseling has been developed evolving from the distinctiveness of the Christian faith.
