Lordship salvation is a search for perfection,
a search for the fullest possible expression of life. You may not understand
yet, but it is a journey to Jesus, who is the ultimate expression of life
for you. Most men, if not all men struggle with life because there is
mystery in experiencing perfection, the rich, full, complete life.
Your search for perfection is actually derailed by your pursuit of it. The
true search for perfection is only by the lordship salvation of Jesus Christ.
The search for perfection, the search for the rich, full, abundant life is not the product of
the pursuit of man. It is the lordship salvation of God, by God, and for
God. It is the unmerited gift of God. As Jesus said,
"Ye have not chosen me, but I have chosen you . . ." (John
15:16). Mysteriously, the fulfillment of life, perfection, for man comes not from
the pursuit of life by man; rather, it comes from the pursuit of man by life.
The search for perfection is actually the search of God for you, lordship
salvation.
