End time prophecy is the revelation of Jesus
Christ that comes forth at the end of an age. The Scriptures speak with
certainty on many subjects but none is more prominent than its proclamation
of the end of this age. There will be a consummation of the ages.
Inspiration and direction for those times come from end time prophecy.
The early followers of Jesus believed in end time prophecy. Peter
declared in one of his first messages that the "restitution of all
things" was predicted by "all of the prophets from Samuel and
those that followed after . . . ." End time prophecy was very
much a part of the understanding of those early disciples of Jesus.
Jesus believed in end time prophecy. In Matthew's account of the
gospel, Jesus continually referred to what the Old Testament prophets had
predicted. In everyone of the gospel accounts, there is recorded an
end time prophecy by Jesus Himself.
End time prophecy reveals what God is saying about the consummation of the
ages. End time prophecy is simply God speaking through the mouth of a
man. End time prophecy can be trusted because, through the influence
of the Holy Spirit, it is the thought of God. End time prophecy is as
sure as the essence or being of God Himself.
